About ImmigrantFinanceHub

Who We Are

ImmigrantFinanceHub is an independent financial education publication focused exclusively on the unique challenges immigrants face in the U.S. financial system. We were founded in 2024 by a team of immigrant financial professionals who lived these challenges firsthand — from applying for an ITIN to opening their first Roth IRA, from sending remittances home to filing their first U.S. tax return.

We are not a bank, a brokerage, a tax preparation firm, or a law office. We are journalists and educators who happen to hold financial credentials — and we write the way we wished someone had written for us when we first arrived.

Our Mission

The U.S. financial system is built for people who were born into it. Immigrants are expected to figure it out alone — with language barriers, no credit history, unfamiliar tax rules, and advisors who don’t understand their situation. We exist to close that gap.

Every article we publish is grounded in official U.S. government sources — the IRS, CFPB, SEC, FDIC, SSA — and reviewed by a credentialed professional. We write in plain English, with specific numbers and actionable steps. No vague advice. No filler.
